Things to note :

*Try not to go for a Dual Core x32 based Processor, unless you are going to build it for the Office.Quad-Core x64 based processor is highly recommended.

Best suites : Intel Core 2 Quad Series Processor;AMD Phenom II X4 Series Processor.

*Always try to buy a Graphics Card on the basis of it's clock frequency and not on it's Video RAM, as it can happen that a 512 MB High frequency GPU can outperform a 1 GB GPU clocked at lower frequency.

Best Suites : Nvidia 9600 GT 1 GB(looking for entry level cards);AMD Radeon HD 5450; Nvidia 8400 GS or GT210(looking for a card that acts towards increasing PC Performance than gaming);AMD HD 6770 and 5770;Nvida GT450

*Avoid buying Motherboard from the manufacturer of the CPU like Intel. Intel Processors are good but their motherboard are quite costly and is not up to performance.try going for motherboards with same socket for ASUS,Gigabyte. Be sure to buy a DDR3 compatible Motherboard as it will reduce the RAM cost than DDR2.

*For RAM,you can buy any kind of brand that the shopkeeper chooses. But sure to install the same type of RAM from same Vendor for 2nd , or 3rd, or 4th,... no. of sticks.

*Be sure about this thing - if you have RAM more than 3 GB , then install 32-bit Operating System. If the RAM is more, then install 64-bit Operating System. You may or may not follow this.

*Never try to do overclocking on the recommendation of your friend till you know about it clearly. If it is processed in a wrong way, then it will harm your system, make it unstable and voids your warranty.

*Try not to install a high performance add-on component over an old Rig,such as installing GT550Ti over a Pentium IV Processor. It will create a bottleneck system, i.e. it will reduce the efficiency of the newer part.

*If you are a Graphics Designer or linked to any creative art work, it is recommended to go for a CRT Monitor than LCD as they can provide more nearer color than LCD whose color counts are limited. For others, LCD is better.

 Digital Camera :-

Well, for starting with a Digital Camera, they are of two types-

1.Point and Shoot Camera-The Slim and Normal Digital Cameras to which we are mostly encountered.

2.D-SLR-Advanced Digital Camera often in the Hands of Professional Photographers.

 Note :

*Try not to get a Digital Camera less than 10 Megapixel Sensor.Always buy from branded company like Nikon, Samsung and Canon

*If you are trying to buy for everyday trip and household purposes, the go for Point and Shoot Camera.

*Be sure about the accessories provided and always buy an extra Memory Card.

*Try to buy a Camera with SDHC Memory Support of more than 8 GB.

*Video Recording Capability of a Camera depends on its processing Power and the rate of taking pictures a second.Whenever you see that the camera says 640 X 480 at 30fps, it means that the camera has the maximum ability of taking 30 Photos per Second of resolution 640 X 480.
